Note: First time you use the harness, it will seem like it’s going to ride up and choke you BUT have no fear, it doesn’t. It’s just getting set in place.
I’ve used this a few times with my Rogue dog sled and it’s perfect. I push/sprint with the pull strap resting on the sled, then quickly put the pull strap to the back of the harness without issue. I have tight shoulders so putting my hands b3hind me is a struggle. I put a carabiner with another larger D-ring on the back D-ring of the harness so when I attach the pull strap, I have something hanging down lower and don’t have to go fishing around for the D-ring. Saves time and makes the training session stay on point.
Cons’s:
Only one. The carabiners on the included pull strap are a bit small. The loops of the strap get snagged on the hinge of the biner. I’ll probably switch them out with an Oval carabiner. This is a small, negotiable and really inconsequential issue. You get a free pull strap. Can’t really complain.

I love the harness, the only issue I have is the strap where it connects to the spring snap, I used it once and the strap keeps hanging up on the spring snap and its fraying it as it snags up. I’m afraid after time it’s going to weaken it and rip, Maybe If I tape it in place so it doesn’t move around that may help. Otherwise I think the harness is BadASS!

I bought this to help train for strongman. I have now pushed the durability of this to pull a sled of 730lbs on a turf surface. I wouldn’t go any heavy since it was starting to make sounds under such a heavy load. Good product though.

Overall a great sled harness. I hooked it up to an old tire and threw in a lot of weight and it work great. No issues with durability after 5 month 5 use. Only downside it taking it off and on and sometimes hooking it up in the back if you want to quick disconnect to go to another exercise.

I really like how comfortable it is. My only concern is the first time pulling my car with it it sounded like a seam popped a little bit while I was building up speed. I have only used it twice (once with a sled and once with a Chevy Impala) so we will see if it holds up. I wonder if there is a warranty on this though. It didn’t come with any information on it that I am aware of.

I had to stop running because of the impact (bad feet). So I bought this, got a tire for free from the tire shop. Drilled a hole through it and put an eye bolt in it with a couple of big washers. Dragging the tire behind me around the neighborhood for 30 minutes is every bit as hard as running used to be! The harness is super comfortable and very well built. I’m pretty shocked it was only $39!

I’m not sure about the product pic here, but one IMPORTANT thing to note is that the harness actually has (a “new” and “improved” feature) 2 sets of 2 slip-rings for the belt on EACH side. Why do you care? Because if, like me, you use it for the heavy weight pulling the harness itself is capable of, you will want that second set as it keeps the belts, once tightened, from slipping; this way the belt stays as tight as it was before you started your pull. The harness itself has always been up to the task and is made to withstand anything anyone this side of Hercules wants to drag with it (okay, probably need some legal jargon here about not pulling semi-trucks, etc.). The harness is wicked strong and sewn and resewn; the harness does not cut into the shoulders and padding is sufficient. The rings at chest height in the front and a ring in the back give you options that keep things interesting by allowing you to mix it up in all kinds of creative ways. Put all of that together with the double slip-ring system and you’ve got a harness that you will not wear out and will feel confident in as you use it. BTW…if using lighter weight or using it with light band work, you can still use only one set of slip-rings on each side as always.

This harness is awesome! My friend and I each have one and we use it to run sprints with tires attached to the strap. We have alse hooked weights to the strap which works well also. Super comfortable and durable, I have been using it since March and have put it through a lot of wear and tear. My friend and I have totally different body types and we both find it easy to adjust and comfortable while running. I had an issue with the strap I received and after emailing their customer service I instantly got a response (on a Sunday night too)!. They took care of everything and were super nice. I would highly recommend both the seller and this product! Also, their products are made in the USA!

This harness works great. Have only used it to pull a 205/55-16 car tire on grass but so far it works great. Sufficient padding under the shoulders and it is easily adjusted for tightness with the side straps. The tow strap is very rugged and the snap hooks easily connect and disconnect from the harness. This is my first pulling harness as in the past I just used a weight lifting belt or a heavy duty back pack to pull the kids on their sleds while I was cross country skiing so it this harness really shines compared to that. But overall very good quality and I would buy it again. Will append this review after using it this winter for pulling sleds and a larger loader tire.

I’ve used the kind of harness that clips in the front and it was always a challenge to figure out how it was supposed to be worn when putting it on. This harness is simple and extremely well build. You don’t need to cinch it tight and it stays in place. I’ve done about 5 or 6 miles of tire pulling with it so far and it’s perfect.

This is a fantastic and strong harness for anyone looking to add a different aspect to their workouts. It is quick and easy to take off and put on which makes it good for workouts with multiple people. It has a ring on the front and back which make it useful for both pulling forward and backwards. I absolutely love this harness. I am a big believer in functional training and have been pushing/pulling sleds for quite a while, but I’ve only ever used a waist harness and felt it was lacking. After some research I picked up this harness to use for pulling weight sleds and dragging tires. I am completely impressed by the versatility of this harness. I am a muscular guy and am capable of pulling some serious weight, but this harness handles it all. I’ve been using it 4-5 times a week and have put it through some serious torture, 200+ lb tire drags on asphalt, 400+ lbs on sleds, and this thing hasn’t popped a single thread. Its so versatile and adjustable that my wife can use it by simply cinching down the straps tighter. My only critique is that the back d ring can be hard to reach yourself without taking the vest off. Its easily fixed by buying another caribiner and a short length of chain or tether to clip to the back d ring for faster switches between front and back clip ins. I highly recommend this harness.

I absolutely love this harness. It fits really nicely, it’s adjustable so it will fit small and large people very nicely. It is padded in all the right places to keep from hurting your shoulders or sides. It looks great on you too. It will pull very heavy loads, you can hook up to the front or back of your harness. Great for sleds or tires. I like to run with a tire dragging behind it., pull very even and the straps pull it well. All the stitching is reinforced on this so you don’t worry about it breaking. It is very well made. I was also worried that when I run that the straps would rub under my arms, but it doesn’t. This harness gives me no rubbing, I can’t tell you how happy I am with this purchase.

I was a little concerned (my own skepticism) that this would not fit my 12 y/o son who is a little on the slim size, however, this harness was exactly what I was looking for in size, comfort, and functionality for him. I had purchased the SKLZ speedsac to add to his speed and agility workouts and the waist harness that came with it just was not working. The waist harness was very uncomfortable for his size and he had to hold on to it while he ran to keep it up and in place. I found this harness on Amazon, crossed my fingers, and made the purchase. I bought a lower quality harness first, which was OK but saw this and you can tell solely by the product photo that it is well made. I am not a coach or elite athlete, rather use this as a cross-training diversion. I use the harness to pull a weight sled with, so far, (3) 25 lb Olympic plates for 30 minutes on my XC ski trails. Weight of plates and sled is about 100 lbs. There has not been a hint of a problem with durability. I think there could be an improvement made by adding a strap near the 2 top D rings to keep the top of the harness from spreading apart on your shoulders, much like many backpacks and Camelbaks have. One day I quikly tried using a carabiner to tension the 2 D rings, but it was at neck level and not doable. Thinking I’ll take the ends off a bungy cord and tie the D rings together with that. Anyways, KUDOS to the makers of this. It’s basically bombproof and fits well.

Very good design and quality. Well-constructed and it does indeed fit almost everyone. Only gripe is not sure why the shoulder d-rings are on the front, would be much better on the back. Price is right-on for the level of quality and performance.

I purchased this for my husband based off of the reviews. He has told me the vest is made very well and it fits comfortably. Unfortunately the strap did not last it’s first use. My husband used it to pull a tire that weights much less than 500 lbs and it snapped because it couldn’t handle the tension. I’ll need to find another strap that can withstand more than half a work out to replace the broken one. As I said before the vest is top notch but I’d purchase an additional strap just in case.

Item is better than the company describes it; I bought one for me, used it for a week, then bought another one for my wife. The harness is very comfortable to use – I have even pulled my boys around with them sitting on the tire and experienced no discomfort from the harness. I got two tires to pull around from the local Firestone store for free (ask for balding tires), attached an eye bolt with a nut & washer and added an anchor shackle (all available at any hardware store). This harness comes with a strap that has a carabiner on either end, so for very little money you have a great workout device!P.S. I thought I would need a longer strap to pull the boys around, but the strap that comes with this harness ended up being long enough. Another pleasant surprise from this product.

Great product. Very strong and very well put together. We use it to do speed drill with resistance bands. We just loop the resistance bands through any of the durable O-rings and do our drills.
